This program was recorded during a live presentation on June 12, 2012.
Since its introduction in 2010, Schedule C has proven to be a source of continual confusion and frustration for 5500 preparers. Recent DOL letters demanding Schedule C filing for plans which had not previously filed them only highlight the uncertainty and misunderstanding this Schedule has caused.
In this seminar, the speaker helps cut through all the questions and as much of the confusion as possible. When the program ends, you should know who needs to file, what needs to be reported, and where and how to report it. The speaker explains eligible indirect compensation, and filing issues regarding mutual funds. He also shows how Schedule C ties into the new service provider fee disclosure rules, and how they differ.
