Duration: 60 Min.
Description
Participation in a plan isn’t always governed just by meeting the plan’s requirements, but could also be determined by the person’s changing employment status, employee type or other new factor. These changes can affect a person’s participation in the plan and the eligibility process makes the needed changes and updates. But the challenge is not just making these changes, but determining what changes are right for a given situation, and how history is maintained as people change over time.
In this session, we will:
- define the available plan status codes and their differences
- define employment status codes and sub-codes
- define employee type codes and sub codes
- show how to enter or import these fields
- understand how these change the plan status when eligibility is posted
- examine census history to show how these changes are maintained and updated
