                                                                     New England User Group Meeting
                                                                                       November 7, 2017

8:30 - 9:00                                Breakfast

Sessions:

9:00 - 4:00                               Crystal Report Designer Basics -
How to navigate in Crystal Report Designer and make
(including breaks & lunch)          minor changes to your favorite reports

Relius Efficiencies - There are many efficiencies within Relius that could make your
day-to-day tasks much easier. Review in this session some not-so-well known or forgotten
about options within Relius, such as new query reports, new reporting options in Report
Writer, investment restrictions, email groups, and global options.

Understanding Forfeitures - Are you confused by forfeitures? Let us demonstrate for you
the proper method for processing forfeitures within Relius Administration. From plan setup to
census to forfeitures in suspense, we will cover it all.

Participant Web -  Here’s the other side of the web—the proper setup of participant web. This
includes features such as requesting transactions, reports, loans, allocation changes, etc. There
is a wealth of information we can make available to our participants, and even some things we
                                                 can have them

All About Auto Enrollment Regulations might require eligible participants to be
automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan until and unless they specifically opt out. The plan could
also require this automatic enrollment to be at a specified contribution rate which could go up
over time. Even though participants might usually set their own contribution rates or amounts,
this might still be something the recordkeeper needs to deal with. Fortunately, Relius
Administration has several tools available to help manage this process easily and efficiently.

General Non-Discrimination Testing and ReportsThe General Non-Discrimination test has
many parts. In Relius, separate reports are generated for each of these when we run this testing
process. This session will examine each of these tests and reports, along with what each one
shows, when it applies and what it is being tested. The session will also look at various options
that can be applied to the whole process, along with what happens if the general test fails. And
                                                 then there’s the “Optimizer” thing…

                                                 But that’s a different topic.

Roth Contributions, Distributions & Rollovers - Since January 1, 2006, qualified plans have
been able to allow employees to make Roth deferrals to their plans. Roth deferrals to a 401(k)
plan are the same as regular deferrals (pre-tax) except for the tax consequences. Roth
distributions also have unique considerations and starting in 2010, participants can turn
traditional contributions into Roth contributions using a new In-Plan Roth Rollover option. During
this session, we will look at how to set up the plan, the census & payroll, the transactions and
other steps needed to process Roth contribution amounts.

Lunch will be provided at Pizzeria Uno.

This meeting will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, Springfield, MA (800 Hall of Fame Avenue).   The Basketball Hall of Fame is located directly across the parking lot from the Hilton Garden Inn.

                                  New England User Group Meeting
                                                                                      May 09, 2017

8:30 - 9:00                                Breakfast

Sessions:

9:00 - 4:00                               Plan Specifications - Have you ever wondered why a particular Relius feature isn’t
(including breaks & lunch)           working the way you expect it to? Proper setup of Plan Specifications is critical to making
sure your plan runs correctly. This session will review some of the most important
fields in Plan Specifications and includes a great handout to take back to your office
                                                 with you for future use.

Takeover Plans - Learn how to properly setup new takeover plans from setting up the
plan, takeover loans, eligibility, and the options for posting the takeover assets.

Plan Maintenance - Relius has a menu item called “Plan Maintenance” and this session
will discuss the items listed there. Some work alone, while others are also part of
                                                 different Relius Functions.

DB Viewer - Ever wonder how you could get data out of the system that wasn’t available
                                                 via a report or export?

Roth Contributions, Distributions & Rollovers - Since January 1, 2006, qualified plans
have been able to allow employees to make Roth deferrals to their plans Roth deferrals to
a 401(k) plan are the same as regular deferrals (pre-tax) except for the tax consequences.
Roth distributions also have unique considerations and starting in 2010, participants can
turn traditional contributions into Roth contributions using a new In-Plan Roth Rollover option.
During this session, we will look at how to set up the plan, the census & payroll, the
transactions and other steps needed to process Roth contribution amounts

Rehires - Like the old saying goes…it’s not goodbye it’s just so long.  What to do with those
pesky rehires to bring them back into the fold.

We will then continue with actual case scenarios that you would like to have covered.  Please submit questions, requests, case scenarios etc. to Cheryl Holben to Cheryl at cherylholben@qpc-inc.com by November 4th.

Lunch will be provided at Pizzeria Uno.

This meeting will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, Springfield, MA (800 Hall of Fame Avenue).   The Basketball Hall of Fame is located directly across the parking lot from the Hilton Garden Inn.

ABOUT THIS GROUP:

We do not charge a membership fee, and the registration fees for our meetings are kept as low as possible, we charge only what is needed to cover the cost of the meeting.

We typically hold two meetings per year, in the spring and fall. Our meetings are held in Springfield, Massachusetts but we are open to hold a meeting in a different location if there is enough interest. Our agendas are based on what the attendees would like to have covered. We request that attendees provide us with a list of topics they would like to see on the agenda and then we work with FIS to accommodate the topics with one of their excellent trainers.

We welcome new members. If you would like more information, please contact Cheryl Holben at cherylholben@qpc-inc.com.
