Partnership/Sole Proprietorships - Calculation Outside of Relius
Mark Reasoner
Description: Partnership and Sole Proprietor entities present special challenges for setup, calculating contributions, compliance testing and other issues. Mostly due to the use of Ideal Salaries rather than entered compensation for the partners and proprietors. In this session, we’ll look at these special steps and show how Relius can efficiently perform the needed calculations. The process works for determining contributions, compliance testing and even with the Optimizer.

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Participant/ Plan Sponsor Web and DVC
Mark Reasoner
Description: Here’s the other side of the web—the proper setup of participant web. This includes features such as requesting transactions, reports, loans, allocation changes, etc. There is a wealth of information we can make available to our participants, and even some things we can have them do.
This detailed session demonstrates the proper setup of plan sponsor web which includes all its wonderful features such as transactions, reporting and the Advisor Portal. In addition, we will review how to setup and maintain the DVC module as well as how to use the DVC user defined data validation rules. Learn how to not only scrub the data your plan sponsors provide, but force them to send you the information you require to do the job they have hired you to do. Using these rules can also help prevent bad data from being imported into your database.
